My work
investigates how memories are formed, retained and recalled, using the
concepts of both sight and sound. I am interested in using
‘transitional’ readymade objects. These objects stand as a metaphor
for the human brain. By embedding layers of sound, I aim to illustrate
the minds capacity to retain and store memories.
As the Danish philosopher Søren Kierkegaard states, ‘Human beings can be
understood only from the inside in terms of their lives and explained
reality and dilemmas’. |
