Portraits, life drawings,magazine and book
illustrations.
One day I would love to be a successful portrait
painter. I have stood back in awe at some of the great works to be seen in
galleries. To be able to capture a face with all its individuality and
character is something I try to do. Sometimes it works and sometimes not.
I have been a published illustrator since 1990 and I try to give the
characters in the illustration some life to give the reader of the story a
feeling of 'this is believable' as the stories I illustrate are fiction.
My pen an ink work is being admired as being some of the finest around which
is something I am quite proud of. Most of my work comes from the USA, some in
the UK and recently Australia. I have exhibited locally, in London and
Blackburn.
I continue to enjoy attending life drawing and portrait classes in
Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire.
