I decided to concentrate on the fine art
aspects of my career. I worked with clients for more years than I care to
remember in the cut and thrust world of commercial and industrial
photography. With a successful career behind me, I am taking on new
challenges to prove my ability.
The commercial photographic trade has changed so much over the last twenty
five and more years that it is time to reflect right now on that success and
concentrate on what has been the photographer's ambition.
That ambition shows my work is of the essence of the natural; it works to
stimulate the viewer in to looking at the world that they live in. A
changing world, changing incredibly fast while the old are left behind and
the wise are are left to wait and see what is the next move.
“Growing Pains” is a poignant look at that world and how it has changed.
Something quietly sexual in the imagery - subliminal, it seeks your
imagination.
My love of black and white imagery shows through this body of work,
returning to a medium that is still as evocative and powerful as ever.
