Maxine Dodd is one of the 'Gals in the attic' - her studio
being No.61 right at the top of the house. Since coming to Barton Hall, Maxine
has found it a truly inspiring location which suits well her paintings of the
landscape, rural animals and life and she has found great support and friendship
from the other artists and designers in the studios.
A graduate of Liverpool School of Fine Art where she studied painting, Maxine
came home to Leicester and now lives near to Market Harborough. She is a member
of the Harborough Artists Cluster and is a regular particpant in the Open
Studios and Arts Trail events.
