Always a lover of watercolour landscaped in an
impressionistic style, John has more recently ventured into more abstract
and semi-abstract paintings and finds that the two styles can both be
enjoyed in different ways and are both very challenging.
Following time spent in Paris and mixing with a Bohemian group of artists
and filmmakers, John has always been interested in new ideas and is
currently painting a collection of pictures painted on alternative supports,
in place of paper and canvas, achieving unusual results.
Living in Northamptonshire, John is a pharmacist by profession. In recent
years, his interest in painting and artwork has grown considerably, holding
many successful exhibitions and undertaking numerous commissions.
