| 'Bizzie Lizzie Furniture' is the new
personalised, hand painted furniture side of 'Hothouse Interiors,' a small
local family business, which was launched by sisters, Lesley and Louise in
April 2003. After three successful years creating beautiful home settings
for clients in the Northamptonshire area, we felt there was a huge demand
for more specialised personal items and accessories for both children and
adults, to complement their completed interiors. It was therefore decided to
expand our already existing range of painted furniture, (decorating new or
existing items for clients). We can also create murals mainly aimed at
children, painting jungle bedrooms for your little tearaways or a princess'
palace for your little angels. We pride ourselves for our reliable and
professional service and all decoration work is undertaken by us personally,
continually striving to create high standards and quality throughout.
Lesley Arnold
I studied graphic design at college and after working in various advertising
agencies and printers, set up as a freelance designer before having my
daughter Lizzie. I always loved interiors and decided to re-train in
interior design and specialised in paint effects. My favourite interiors
being children's bedrooms and playrooms. I love to carry a theme through to
the furniture.
I am presently working on a range of matching chairs, tables, toy boxes and
mirrors to buy from our new 'Bizzie Lizzie Furniture' website which is
currently being created. Bespoke designs will still be available and all
design colours can be changed to tie in with existing colour schemes. I will
also be creating a 'grown up' range of boxes and accessories for special
occasions such as christenings, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays or for
Max the dog or Tibbles the cat!
Louise Thorpe
I also studied at art college but in the field of fashion design and
illustration, I then launched my own fashion company 'Louise Exclusive',
creating one-off garments, mainly bridle and evening wear for clients in
Sheffield and surrounding areas, which I ran successfully for many years.
Following the birth of my two children Alastair and Frances, I relocated to
Kettering, and also decided to re-train in interior design. My specialist
areas being, finishing, accessories and soft furnishings. Apart from running
Hothouse Interiors, I also help Lesley paint the furniture.
